Easter has arrived +HomeGoods

Can DIY this with an old Easter bunny you
have. Glue and decoupage old pages from a book to it.

You can also DIY this by using an old
Easter bunny you have and spray paint it with silver
metallic spray paint or with gold metallic spray paint.

{ Pinterest Do }

This is a Pinterest Do. I tried this on my
daughter's hair and it works. When hair is wet
add a curling hair product like Curling Moose or
Curling Gel before starting the twisting. Also, if
you want the curls closer to the scalp make sure
you twist towards the top of the scalp.

I used this Garnier Fructis Style.

This is the result the next morning
after sleeping with it in. Just have to fluff it
and pull it apart, add some Curling Moose
and style.

A round mirror is better than a
rectangular mirror because it will break up
all of the straight lines in the rest of the room.

Below are some ideas on how you can
use it in a room.

  Pinterest  { Dos and Donts }

Pinterest Don't.

I was very excited to try this because I thought I would see a difference, but I did not see a difference after following the instructions listed.

But what will help is if you steam your face over a pot of  hot water for about 5 minutes, but be careful it will be hot!  Then put a mud mask on as directed and use an apricot scrub afterwards as directed (St. Ive's at CVS) and finish with a moisturizer.  Do this once a week and you will notice a difference.

Valentine's Day Tip

Use some of your Red Christmas decorations for
Valentine's Day.

Also, during Christmas Clearance look for red decorations.
Above are red branches and a red frame from Michaels that
were 90% off and red frame from Target that was 50% off.

( Can do the reverse, use Valentine's  Decorations for  Christmas)

Home Goods is filled with all of these different kinds of paper flowers that are perfect for Valentine's Day and Spring instead of plastic ones. These will look so perfect in a vase or laying down on a table or buffet and reasonably priced.

Dishes can add the Valentine's Day cheer in the home and can be used everyday.   (Also can be saved for Christmas!)

Target

These items from Target are so cute to add to your home.  I wish I had room for them on my kitchen counter.

This frame is also perfect for Valentine's Day from Home Goods. This can also be a DYI project. You can replace the map with scrapbook paper.

Pinterest Do, but ....

This Pinterest post does work, but you need to do 4 times the ingredients so it can cover your feet.

  1 cup of Listerine
1 cup of Vinegar
2 cups of Water

Also, all of your dead skin will not practically wipe off.  I found out that the results were better if you use a foot file or a pumice stone that you can buy at CVS.  My feet were not totally free of dead skin so I had to do it once a week until I got the results I wanted after a long time without a pedicure.
